Abstract
In this paper, we have presented a method control the converter to maintain voltage and frequency stability for the AC/DC hybrid microgrid. The converter will operate bidirectionally to transmit power between the AC subgrid and DC subgrid in the AC/DC hybrid microgrid operate in islanded mode. The control method will maintain voltage and frequency stability as well as balance of active and reactive power. In addition, the proposed method can improve the voltage and frequency recovery ability of the microgrid in case of increased load or power generation failure in the AC subgrid and DC subgrid. This is proven by simulation results on Matlab/simulink software.
