DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STATISTICS MIND AND MATHEMATICS THINKING IN TEACHING MATH

Abstract
More and more countries are implementing an approach to teaching mathematics in high schools in the direction of developing mathematical competence. Vietnam's 2018 Mathematics general education program has clearly demonstrated an innovative point of view in this approach. In which, forming and developing mathematical thinking and statistical thinking abilities is one of the important goals of teaching mathematics. The article wants to clarify the difference between statistical thinking capacity and mathematical thinking capacity, how to distinguish and choose between them to solve problems. The purpose is to support the construction and organization of teaching activities of teachers.
